So Which Is It, A 1922 or 1923??

The cast date on my engine is May of 1923 (If I am reading it correctly May 31, 1923).  This puts it very late in the 1923 model year.  Further, the body is a low hood.  Model Ts were in quite a transition during the first half of calendar 1923.  Early 1923 Models had a low hood, later 1922s had a steel firewall and so forth.  Mine crosses both lines.
