This car had some variant of AC brakes installed. They do not look vintage to me, but could be a rip-off of the AC from that period.
They were hooked up to the hand brake. I am going to install the original drum brake setup, then some sort of rod system off the pedal to actuate the AC brakes.
First, I noticed a pretty big issue - the lever was badly cracked on one of them. A friend welded both side of this for me to solve.There is that cream corn yellow again, argghhh. When I got the repaired item back, I painted it black - and forgot to take a picture of his pretty welding job. Not good as new, but should be OK.
