As mentioned earlier, I had posted to the MTFCI forums for advice on my P160 issues. A user offered me another P160. This is what it looked like when it arrived. I appreciated the item, but as you can see it did not look to be too hopeful. But....Shown at right is the condition of the item front and back. You can see that the axle race is not in the best of condition, relative to the condition of the one I already owned. But...
I sat down, put on a good CD and went to work with a Scothbrite pad. You can see the transformation in the two images below. It appeared that I was on the right track. The inside cleaned up decently, and the gear pin holes were decently tight. Thanks again, Dr. Noel....
