Cranked up the Bar-B-Que and roasted some manifolds. Used Bill Hirsh Hi-Temp Cast Iron Gray manifold paint.
It had a bit of a gloss, until I did this. Oven on high, left them there an hour, salt to taste. I am sure they are not fully cured, but wanted to start the process to make them more chip resistant.
Did it this way because I assumed fumes as the paint cured, and did not want this in the house. However, there was less smell than I had anticipated. Still happy I used this method.
