I own 2 spray guns, a Brand X HVLP gun and a vintage Devilbiss gun. The pot gun I used for primer, but sure does throw overspray if I run too much gun pressure. The HVLP gun really worked nicely. I bought a bunch of disposable cups from Harbor Freight, so cleanup on that gun was much easier.
I was really blessed the weeks I shot paint, little wind, temperatures in the mid 80s, low humidity. With my big hay tarp, no wind, and the HVLP - overspray getting on things it should not was a minor issue.
It is September in Wyoming, and I know any painting days are bonus time. I am scrambling to get all elements painted before the temp drops. According to the Dupont sheet, surface temperatures for Centari have to be 70 degrees. Not air temp, surface temp. The ability to do this will not last long from this point in the year...
